“Patience is power.
Patience is not an absence of action;
rather it is “timing.”
It waits on the right time to act,
for the right principles
and in the right way.”

“A waiting person is a patient person.
The word patience means the willingness
to stay where we are
and live the situation out to the full
in the belief that something hidden there
will manifest itself to us.”

Patience is something I’m still trying to learn. I sometimes wonder if it isn’t supposed to be my life-lesson. Wonderful quotes, WG, and beautiful images. I love the tree in the last image. I imagine it’s been around long enough to have an abundance of patience. 🙂
Two of us, Robin. That is one of my favorite trees in the whole area. It stands on the crest of a long bank down to the James River, clinging with its mighty roots to its bit of real estate. If you are working with Patience at the moment, as am I, you might also like: http://shunyatadharma.wordpress.com/2014/11/24/prayer-of-an-anonymous-abbess/ from my other blog. Hugs to you, Robin- WG
Great quotes shared by someone who thoroughly understands the value of patience…a teacher. This is a lovely post ❤
Why thank you so much 😉 Wonderful to hear from you. Hope you’re well and getting ready for Thanksgiving 😉
Great and timely quotes, E. I adore the photo with the leaves in the Dusty Miller!
