“I have come to accept the feeling
of not knowing where I am going.
And I have trained myself to love it.
Because it is only when we are suspended in mid-air
with no landing in sight,
that we force our wings to unravel
and alas begin our flight.
And as we fly,
we still may not know where we are going to.
But the miracle is in the unfolding of the wings.
You may not know where you’re going,
but you know that so long as you spread your wings,
the winds will carry you.”

“And still, after all this time,
The sun never says to the earth,
“You owe Me.”

Look what happens with
A love like that,
It lights the Whole Sky.”

Hafez

Cannot be taken from us; it is a gift.”

even the next minute,
yet still we go forward.
Because we trust.
Because we have Faith.”

  1. what an uplifting post – well always get that here – but the special faith theme resonated tonight.
and right after the RWE quote: “All I have seen
teaches me to trust the Creator
for all I have not seen.”
that next photo has a mysterious light/shadow to the right of the blue mirror ball –
and seemed to fit the quote preceding (or was I projecting all that)

  2. Thank you. I needed to read those quotes today.
