Sunday Dinner: Simple

“As you simplify your life,
the laws of the universe will be simpler;
solitude will not be solitude,
poverty will not be poverty,
nor weakness weakness.”
Henry David Thoreau
“It is not a daily increase, but a daily decrease.
Hack away at the inessentials.”
Bruce Lee
“Besides the noble art of getting things done,
there is the noble art of leaving things undone.
The wisdom of life
consists in the elimination of non-essentials.”
Lin Yutang
“Every solution to every problem is simple.
It’s the distance between the two
where the mystery lies.”
Derek Landy
“It’s as simple as that.
Simple and complicated,
as most true things are.”

Thank you so for sharing the thoughts and snapshots…the green and rich colors of red and pink are soothing to my soul.

  2. such wonderful photos – the quality and content.
also = after a few seriously lazy days – I needed to read a few of these quotes – I know it is healthy to usurp unscheduled time… but feel guilty sometimes.
    “a daily decrease…” ahhhh

    • This is my theme heading into December . I always schedule too much and end up grouchy and exhausted . It is time to do less and enjoy more 😊Nice to hear you got a rest over Thanksgiving .

      • that is a nice theme to wrap up the year with….
and I hate when the grouchy and exhausted sneaks in – and so here is to a grump-less December.
Well this week I have had two nights of sleep that were ten hours – whew- and we always say “must have really needed it if you could sleep that long…”
hope your thanksgiving was nice too – and ttys
