“People ask: Why should I care about the ocean?
Because the ocean is the cornerstone
of earth’s life support system,
it shapes climate and weather.
It holds most of life on earth; 97% of earth’s water is there.
It’s the blue heart of the planet —
we should take care of our heart.
It’s what makes life possible for us.
We still have a really good chance
to make things better than they are.
They won’t get better unless we take the action
and inspire others to do the same thing.
No one is without power.
Everybody has the capacity to do something.”

“There is such solace in the mere sight of water.
It clothes us delicately in its blowing salt and scent,
gossamer items that medicate the poor soul”

and while circulating throughout the earth
distributes information.
This water sent from the universe

is to have an aesthetic perception of life

Amazing post. I love the combination of the beautiful images and words of wisdom.
Thank you-
Let us take nothing for granted – water and all!! Thanks for the beautiful words shared here
Thank you, Christy ❤
What a beautiful, powerful post. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Inga 😉
I like these well expressed quotes on water! I really love photographing images of water – texture, flow, swirls, stillness, reflections, water-colours … and water in contrast with rocks, plants and wildlife.
We share that fascination with an infinitely challenging subject. There is always another view and mood and texture to capture . Thank you for visiting and for your kind words .
Reblogged this on Eliza Waters and commented:
Take not for granted our precious, clean water. It is a privilege and gift!
Thank you, Eliza. Our clean water grows more precious with each passing year.
True that is.
Wonderful post for World Water Day! Blessings!
Blessings to you too, my friend. May your snow and ice soon transform back into precious water ❤ ❤ ❤
Thank you, E. I look at it as a form of drip irrigation. 😉
That’s a good one 😉 At least you will start spring with the soil well hydrated!
Yep!
