“Peace has to be created, in order to be maintained.

It is the product of Faith, Strength, Energy, Will,

Sympathy, Justice, Imagination,

and the triumph of principle.

It will never be achieved by passivity and quietism.”

“I say to you all, once again –

– in the light of Lord Voldemort’s return,

we are only as strong as we are united,

as weak as we are divided.

Lord Voldemort’s gift for spreading discord

and enmity is very great.

We can fight it only by showing

an equally strong bond of friendship and trust.

Differences of habit and language

are nothing at all if our aims are identical

and our hearts are open.”

  1. I love M. stellata! Like giant snowflakes at the tail end of winter, one of the first shrubs to bloom.

    • What a beautiful way to describe them, Eliza ❤ They were like tight pussy willow buds and then quite suddenly exploded into petals! What fun to watch them come out in earliest spring 😉 Do you have more snow on the way this week? We have snow in the forecast for Sunday. March is the most entertaining month…. ❤ ❤ ❤

      • That is the nicest way of putting it! It’s supposed to be frigid cold again this weekend and maybe some snow on Tues. You never know what surprises March has in store for us. 😉
