“Color directly influences the soul.

Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers,

the soul is the piano with many strings.

The artist is the hand that plays,

touching one key or another purposely,

to cause vibrations in the soul.”

.

Wassily Kandinsky

“Red was ruby, green was fluorescent,

yellow was simply incandescent.

Color was life. Color was everything.

Color, you see, was the universal sign of magic.”

  1. Lots of beautifully vulgar fall color in this post. I just LOVE how it sizzles. When it ends (which is usually too fast) it usually sends me in a tailspin of melancholy for a while, before ski season begins. Which cheers me up to no end! 🙂

    • It does sizzle here, finally. My partner and I swear we can see the color intensify hour by hour in our garden today! We have a cold front sweeping through tonight, so by tomorrow it will be kaleidoscopic around here! We have to drink it all in because the time grows short for this Indian Summer to last. It is November, after all…. ❤ ❤ ❤
