Thank you, Koko. The first roots were given to us by a neighbor. It is available from http://www.plantdelights.com as ‘White butterfly ginger lily,” and is hardy to zone 7b. It is a spreader 😉 Let me know if you think it would live in your garden- I would be happy to mail you some roots next spring. woodlandgnome@zoho.com
Awe! That’s so kind of you. I believe i’m in zone 7a. Middle Tennessee. One day I will be back to Cali. I brought a beautiful iris from Cali. The beauties belonged to my father in-law. They are not happy out here. I am trying to keep them alive the best I can. I thank you for the link to plantdelights. I am looking forward to checking it out. I appreciate your kindness. Have a wonderful weekend! Koko 🙂
TN and CA are a very, very long ways apart- in any way you might wish to measure! Good luck keeping the Iris going. Plant Delights is truly a marvelous source for information and for plants. The ginger lily should be OK in 7a- it is hardy and prolific 😉
Beautiful…I’d love to have this in my garden!
