Aahhhh..what a great line: “It’s not easy being green.” A Kermit quote with vast underlying meanings. Thanks for promoting Kermit and for the stunning shots, WG! -Janet
Wonderful to hear from you, Janet! I hope you and Don are both well and happy. It is the loveliest of Williamsburg springs, with the Daffodils in full bloom along Henry St. from CW all the way south. I’m so glad you enjoyed hearing Kermit’s wisdom 3 >3 Our love to you both-
How clever to pair Kermit quotes with your photos!
That is sweet of you to say, Eliza. We just fell in love with these little guys yesterday. We counted 4 of them in the pond and they were enjoying the sunny afternoon. Just had to share the photos- ❤
It looks like fun to just float in the water like that in the warm sun!
I knew you’d understand! The frogs were much happier than the humans out working in the garden, preparing for the Daffodil Festival this weekend coming. Eliza, it is like mid-April here this week. At this rate, our roses will be blooming by the end of April.<3 ❤ ❤
Wow! That is so amazing. Kind of makes me worried about the heat this summer, though. 😦
We’re already thinking that way, Eliza, and also very concerned about mosquitoes and the diseases they now carry, working their way north with the heat. I brought a tick into the house unknowingly a few days ago, and my partner found it on a chair I’d used. I’m working on a little self-discipline with planting this spring, hoping to keep it all manageable ❤ ❤ ❤
We have a whole regimen around tick checking for both dog and humans. Any time we have been outside, we do a thorough body check. If we go for a walk, it’s pants in sox, and I spray my legs with repellent. Before bedtime, its a total body check. The idea is to catch ’em crawling as opposed to embedded. We have no choice!
Frog song is the best!
