February Tapestry

February 21, 2016 spring 003

Are you wandering around your garden, looking for signs of spring, too?

We keep an eye on the progress of bulbs and look for the first signs of growth on perennials.  The garden has begun to awaken from its short winter’s nap!

These gorgeous leaves caught my lens, yesterday.  Do you know them?

  1. Are you talking about those near-black leaves? Could be Ajuga ‘Black Scallop’, one of my favorite ground covers.

  2. Lovely the stirrings of spring!

  3. Ooh, your first daffodil! I have also been scouring the garden for spots of new colour and yesterday teased us a little with very mild and sunny weather. Damp and chilly again today though!
