“A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in-

-what more could he ask?

A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.”

Victor Hugo

“Our duty is wakefulness,

the fundamental condition of life itself.

The unseen, the unheard, the untouchable

is what weaves the fabric of our see-able universe together.”

Robin Craig Clark

“It is good to love many things,

for therein lies the true strength,

and whosoever loves much performs much,

and can accomplish much,

and what is done in love is well done.”

Vincent van Gogh

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret:

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;

what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

  1. My how that amaryllis has grown! The glass is a good support for it.
    Loved the Van Gogh quote.
Hope you are recovering well – please rest & take good care of yourself. 🙂

    • You were right about it needing more light. I moved it closer to the windows today and the leaves have improved already. I expect it will bloom this week 😉 Yes, I loved the Van Gogh quote especially. We are still “in” and resting- out of the weather so much as possible. I hope we’ll be out and about within the next few days, though. Best wishes, WG
