The purple violas are so pretty in the snow. A light dusting adds such beauty to the landscape.
It does, indeed 😉 They were sheltered from most of it, and even the flowers survived the cold 😉 How are you today? We’ve been watching the coverage of Nantucket in horror. I’m so glad you are well to the west of the worst of it. Has the wind died down? Best wishes, WG
There is a light breeze, in the 20s and a cobalt sky, love that deep color. It looks like central MA got the most snow at 3′ and the coastal towns took a beating. The ocean is lovely in the summer, but in winter… Nantucket has deep pockets so I don’t worry about them as much as the poorer communities. Still, storms are serious business. Traffic bans probably saved many lives.
Thank you for the update, Eliza. It is always wonderful to see the cobalt sky after the storm passes. The air is so crisp and clean. I’m sorry to see so much disruption all up and down that area of the coast, and I’m so glad to see municipalities wising up with the curfews and travel bans. Saves a lot of heartache and expense. Best wishes, WG
