Without shadows, how would we see into the depths?
Shadows offer perspective; a needed dose of reality, sometimes.

When the glare becomes too much, we seek the cool and restful shadows.
They offer us a different view of things.

We may seek the light, but we appreciate it even more when our experience grows somewhat
Shadowed.

it creates its works in places

Love that photo of the marsh & creek at sunset – perfect example of light and shadow!
Thank you, Eliza. 😉 It was a lovely evening to spend time beside the creek.
Beautifully done, WG. 🙂
Thank you, Robin ;- )
Nice shots for this week’s challenge. Are those big boulders from the Pacific Northwest?
Thank you, Barbara 😉 Those little granite rocks are part of the hardening along the bank of Powhatan Creek, right here in James City County near Jamestown. Look closely, and you’ll see a leaf to give scale. Funny, isn’t it, how they look like boulders to you, and they are really just stepping stones for me to get a better angle out over the Creek 😉 Hope you enjoy the weekend, Barbara, WG
