  2. It’s all about the pines this time of year. Sometimes I think it’s all about the pines here on the Eastern Shore. They seem to make up the bulk of the trees. I’m fascinated with the loblollies which may seem silly since they are so common around here.

    • But the pines catch the light so beautifully all winter long. I love the cedars, hollies and Magnolias as well; but the pines are simply everywhere and give such lovely cones. In such flat terrain, the mighty pines just dominate the landscape, don’t they? May all be well with you, Robin, WG
