White,
All colors of light
Joined together in clear unity.
Reflective, cool, at peace with itself;
Serene white beckons
with a promise of rest and respite.
Bleached and clean,
Crisp or crinkled,
White linen putting a good face on
whatever may live beneath.
Creamy white ice cream melting on pie,
Creamy white paint on porches,
Cream swirls in Cappuccino and Gazpatcho;
Creme fraiche on chocolate Creme brulee.
White shells ornament the sands of memory
Like bright white stars piercing an indigo sky,
Time travelers from other worlds;
Messengers of possibilities unknown.
Great white brothers and sisters
Offering Pleaidian promises of
Eventual evolution and peace.

Beautifully done, WG. 🙂
Thank you, Robin 😉
Beautiful in white! I have a friend who’s head-over-heels in love with gardening in the woods. I truly admire you guys.
The woods remain rich with possibilities…. 😉
These are so beautiful! All your posts make me want my own little secret garden… I may need a yard for that though, here’s to dreaming 🙂
All you need is a windowsill, Jennifer, and the wish to garden 😉 The pitcherplant is potted up in a mixing bowl- which held ferns on my dining table before it was re-purposed for this planting. If you have light inside, you can have your own secret garden 😉 Thanks for the kind words- so happy you enjoyed the post. WG
hmm, you’re tempting me. I may start to look into it. 🙂
Then start with a fern. Just keep it moist 😉
Great photos! I love white. To me, it is the ultimate color. 🙂
Absolutely! Love to wear white and khaki all summer, too.
